Hi there! i'm 18 years old,209lbs, 6ft4 with a fair bit of body fat covering my abs. I'm not used to diets or much exercise so all this is quite alien to me. I've received my diet plan but am struggling with choosing meals with high protein (in each day of my plan, the carb levels are more than protein). These days include 3 protein shakes of 22gram protein. I also don't like tuna, and have had to choose 2 chicken sandwiches a day just to keep protein levels up. Is there any easy way of increasing protein? Also, on a lot of posts, people mention % muscle gain and values for fat loss. I don't understand how this is measured... As I say, i'm a total beginner. I've also looked into buying the protein shakes but they cost a lot of money! I live in UK so can't buy through sixpacknow. From the online stores i've looked in, it looks like i'll be spending ?0 a week on just supplements!I'll keep you posted on how I get on.. I'm not looking forward to not being able to drink beer! Thanks,Lee

If you are new to this it can seem all very daunting. Don't worry help is at hand.  Why not just increase the scoops of powder you put in your shakes, you could easily add another 40g. Shame you don't like tuna , its the best source of protein. A [ost for UK members was posted a week ago about where to get cheaper supplements. www.healthy2day.com and search for Reflex Instant Whey, apparently its great stuff!

As for body fat percentage, you'll need some body fat calipers for a real accurate reading. I'm sure the team may be able to shed a little light on your situation.
